Yes, the District is saved! After 12 years of being on the receiving end of harrasment, intimidation and retaliation, the Save Sweetwater Committee feels a profound sense of vindication with the ousting of all the School Board Members who have been poisoning the District with their corrupt practices.
One more thing has us concerned. For almost the entire span of these corrupt activities, Ed Brand has been the Superintendent. None of their corrupt behavior would have been possible without his help and support. He has been the grand enabler of all of their criminal activities. He is gone but the effects of his misconduct will take years to correct. The Save Sweetwater Committee will remain vigilant.
